Parent Groups (PFSO)

What is PSFO?

PFSO is the Parent Faculty Student Organization of Foothill Technology High School (FTHS). Our mission is to involve the parents, faculty, students and other interested persons to improve educational and social opportunities at FTHS and to raise funds “to enrich the wellbeing of the students educationally and socially.” Please see our bylaws for more information.

Membership is only $25 a year for a family. Joining every year ensures you're on our mailing list and will hear about opportunities to donate and volunteer. Your membership fees help to support a wide range of activities, including teacher appreciation events, teacher grants, field trips, equipment, and many more. Staff and faculty (aka "Staffulty") can join at the discounted rate of $12.50. Staffulty must be members to receive PFSO grants.

Other ways to get involved:
- Attend PFSO meetings. This is your chance to hear what's going on at FTHS and how you can help. Everyone is invited.
- Donate items for our annual Teacher Tower (school supplies for teachers)
- Donate food items. Every year, PFSO hosts a Welcome Back Lunch, a winter breakfast, and an end of year breakfast for faculty and staff
- Help plan our annual fundraiser. We need you!
- Participate in our Annual fundraiser by bidding on items in our auction.
- Donate items for the auction, sponsor a table, or advertise in the program.
